Caroline et al,
Firstly, what am I doing emailing at 21.00!? Therapy needed imminently I suspect!
I sent put a similar email out some months ago and received a number of incredibly helpful replies including a number of really good policy documents.
If it would be helpful, and if the institutions who send me policies don't mind (do you?) I can send you their's en masse, and my own which is at draft stage as we are encountering problems with the issue of ownership if intellectual property rights (can anyone help me on this with precedents from their own organisation?).
Regards
Matthew

Subject: Heritage sector- Records Management Policy and Strategy
documents
I am currently drafting a records management policy which will go to the Board of Directors for approval. This will be followed by a records management strategy document. I am wondering if any member of this discussion list could forward me a copy of their organisations' documents covering these two areas. This is so that Historic Royal Palaces can benefit from expertise that exists already in this field.
kind regards
