Further to Eric's query about 'assessing agreement between two methods' ...
Agreement between 2 categorical variables can be assessed by estimation of
the kappa statistic. Can anyone suggest a method for assessing trend in
agreement over time. We could estimate kappa (with 95% confidence intervals)
intermittently and plot the estimates. But I was hoping there might be a
more sophisticated approach.
Any help is much appreciated.

Subject: assessing agreement between two methods
Dear all,
Kindly advise me the statistical methods that could be used to assess the
agreement between two methods (say Method A vs Method B) on different
scales.
Many thanks
Eric
