ASSISTANT PLANNING OFFICER (ALC 2 or 3)
Imperial College is seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join
its corporate planning team. The appointee will undertake a varied range of
project-based activities including: preparation of submissions to the Higher
Education Funding Council to generate the College's teaching grant and
compilation of management information in support of internal planning
processes and external initiatives.
Applicants should have a good honours degree and an enquiring and analytical
mind. High standards of written and oral presentation will be fundamental.
He/she must possess a high degree of computer competency, especially with
spreadsheets and databases, and be highly numerate.
Salary will be within the ALC2 range (£22,604 - £28,625) or ALC3 range
(£29,679 - £34,671) inclusive of London Allowance, depending on experience
(salary under review from 1 August 2002). The appointment of a recent
graduate at a lower grade would be considered.
