Dear Mark
At Royal Holloway, the College Secretary is Secretary to both Council and
Academic Board although the latter was previously serviced by the Head of
Registry. As Head of Planning, I service the Planning and Resources
Committee, the Management Co-ordination Committee (academic Deans,
Vice-Principals and heads of administration) and the Administrative
Computing Management Committee. The Academic Development Committee (major
issues of academic policy, including academic plans and staff resourcing) is
also serviced by the Planning Office.
We have far too many committees here (who doesn't?) and the servicing of
Academic Board sub-committees are spread throughout the College as are those
which report to the Planning and Resources Committee (information services,
estates etc).
Hope this helps - if you need more information, please let me know.
Louise
