Dear Mr / Ms,
After a successful start of the one-year Master Programme of Social
Protection Financing (SPF) in September 2001, we would like to inform you
that the application round for the academic year 2002/2003 has been
initiated. The SPF Programme is organised in collaboration with the ILO and
endorsed and supported by the World Bank and the IMF. The Programme trains
experts in social protection and in social protection financing for social
security institutions, insurance companies, governments, research
institutions and consultancy companies.
We expect that you might have contact with potential candidates for the
programme and we would like to ask you to forward this information to
potential applicants (within developing countries, transition- and advanced
economies). The Master Programme of Social Protection Financing is explained
in more detail in the attachment to this mail. For additional information
and (online) application forms please contact us, or visit our web site:
The Social Protection Financing Programme is organised as a fulltime
one-year programme and runs every year from September to July. After the
completion of all degree requirements the students will obtain a Master
Degree of Social Protection Financing from the University of Maastricht.
Students can also enrol in each module separately and will receive a
certificate and credit for every course completed successfully.
Application to the Master Programme is possible until March 1, 2002. The
tuition fee for the one year Master Programme is 13.000,- Euro per year. For
students from non OECD-member countries (including the Czech Republic,
Poland, Korea and Mexico) the subsidized tuition fee is 5.000,- Euro per
year. Applicants from this latter group can also apply for (partial)
scholarships offered by the SPF Programme, World Bank and Nuffic. The
deadline for scholarship application is also March 1, 2002.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
Thanking you in advance,
Sincerely yours,
Prof. Dr. Chris de Neubourg
