Maria & Keith,
International Day here in sunny Melbourne Australia was great as it was the 3rd
day of summer.
It was freezing, there was a cold wind and it rained and drizzled off and on all
day.
We had a barbarque sausage sizzle and huddled under some tents.
There were about 150 students and adults with disabilities.
We had show bags, face painting, a clown making animal balloon hats, Aboriginal
dancers, a Fire Engine, Police Youth Bus with video games and disco dancing.
Hard nosed Human Rights or just having fun?
Obviously next year we'll arrange a venue where we can all go indoors if it
rains, but I don't know that we'll have any more fun.
While I support a mid year celebration for you Polar Bears, Office Workers and
Public Servants only seem to be able to get their act together once a year.
Anyway I hope you all enjoyed yourselves anyway.
Frank
