Slightly different angle but... I was in a cab last night going home late
from work and I noticed that the cab had a CCTV camera (and visible warning
sticker). Has anyone else seen these?
I'm intrigued, are they real or bluff? I mean, do they have a video
recorder under the seat? Wireless would be far too expensive for an app like
that.
I can see why a cabbie might want a camera but imagine all those groping
couples and so on for later viewing...
Cheers,
Bob.

Subject: Re: Introductions
Well, since everyone is introducing themselves I should lurk no longer.
In my spare time I'm doing an MSc in race and ethnic relations. For my
dissertation I'm looking at surveillance and ethnicity, focusing on CCTV in
Britain. Any suggestions for work in this area (other than Clive Norris)
would be gratefully received.
Sally
