victoria has a point here in this issue ...
The historic landscape needs to be considered and as we inevitably
move toward being resources (certainly funding is directing us all
towards this) we must start to think behound just development control
and considering a wider scope to what and how we record monuments,
finds and landscapes.
The finds is desperately inadequate in the Exegesis system.... and i think
this will be a real problem as the county SMR's gain portable antiquaries
information. I think we need to think about how we wish to record such
information now. Do we need to record assemblages i would think yes
we do in fact instead of the finds form just enableing 1 to 1 link. The form
should be able to record assemblages as necessary.
