Teaching Materials Chemistry
A Royal Society of Chemistry workshop in collaboration with the UK Centre
for Materials Education
November 13th 2001
at
University of Liverpool
Department of Materials Science & Engineering
10.00 am - 4.30pm
Aim of the workshop
The aim of the workshop is for lecturers to discuss the difficulties in
teaching materials chemistry to undergraduate students. To share their
experience in specific areas of the subject which are difficult to convey to
students. To be able to obtain a context for the subject matter from case
studies and teaching models, learning from the experience of others
particular methods, which have proved successful when delivering this
material to students.
