1.What were the on scene times of the other two cases, including
"Helicopter" times. 2. Were the patients anaesthetised?. 3. Did their
"emergency call" time, to scan or theatre, differ from your experience in
other cases. 4.How long do you think it should take to assess, safely RSI,
and package, a head injury patient.
I presume most head injuries in the large city, and the other two you know
about, were more than 3 minutes from a neurosurgery unit. You can scoop and
run. Or you can secure the airway, optomise O2 and CO2, safely package, and
save time in A+E.
