Subject: Any useful references please?
Dear Mr Priestly
My name is Andy Lewis and I am currently working at the
University of Salford on an EPSRC funded project looking at
developing guidance on best practice issues for designers of the
built environment.
Part of our current research has highlighted the role that disabled
people and access groups can play in the process and also the
need for some sort of consistency in training amongst Access
Group members. We are currently developing a research project
with Disability Wales to look at suitable ways in which a structured
training programme can be provided for disabled people in the
voluntary sector (often in isolated rural areas).
Are you aware of any other research that may have been done in
this area?
Can you recommend any other references that may be useful?
I hope you can help and look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely
Andy Lewis
