Apologies for cross-postings.
Following the successful and enjoyable UK AVS+Uniras User Group
(UAUUG) conference at Birmingham last year we hope that you will
be interested in submitting a paper to this year's conference,
to be held at the University of Birmingham Conference Park on
5 and 6 November.
We welcome proposals for talks that cover the whole range
of AVS's products, including their high-end visualisation application
AVS/Express, their scientific graphing application Gsharp and their
Toolkit libraries. Talks will typically last 30 to 40 minutes,
including some time for questions. The rate for the two-day
conference is reduced to £80 for speakers compared to the normal
delegate rate of £200.
The UAUUG web site at http://www.uauug.org.uk/ has details of this
and previous conferences, including the talks given at previous
conferences.
The Program Organiser for this year is Malcom Austen from the
University of Oxford. Please send an email to [log in to unmask]
if you are interested in, or would like any further information
about, giving a presentation.
Hope to see you at Birmingham in November.
Many regards
--
