Sports Injuries Management of The Upper Limb
Kings College, Monday 30th July 2001
The National Sports Medicine Institute of the UK (NSMI) is a registered
medical charity that, in partnership with The Association of Chartered
Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine (ACPSM), run a national programme of
post registration education.
The above event is run as an evening workshop and is aimed primarily at
chartered physiotherapists, coaches and other NHS approved healthcare
professionals working in sport. The workshop is designed to review or
update the therapist on movement dysfunction concepts and relate them to
the shoulder. It is designed to outline the normal function of the
shoulder and identify contributing factors to the development of
mechanical impingement and instability. There will be a large practical
component in assessing key elements of movement dysfunction and early
management of these problems.
