Thanks for sharing this link. I was surprised to read the mix of patients.
The total # of patients assigned to the more conservative Rx is much less
than 1/2 the total # of subjects, and is the sum of all the subjects
categorized by the 3 least severe levels of involvement. All the most
involved DeQuervain's were assigned to the group receiving injection.
I find the set-up of this study to be suspect. The study seems to
corroborate the pre-conceptions inherent in the way the study is set up. Not
scientific, IMHO.
