Some cults take a long time to die out. Up until the last few years there
was a cult (of sorts) paid to St. Martha by Canadian engineers, thanks to
her p.r. man, Rudyard Kipling. His poem The Sons of Martha used to recited
at the induction ceremony during which young engineers received their iron
rings.
