(1997) and Taegu, South Korea (2000), the Third International
Conference of Critical Geography will be held in Békéscsaba,
Hungary from 25th to 30th June 2002, with an optional post-
conference field excursion to Romania on 30th June and 1st July.
The conference will have eight themes:
- Critical Geographical Praxis: Different Challenges in Different
Contexts

- Power, Territory and Transnationality
- Geographies of Nature
- People's Geographies
- Spaces of Difference: Feminist, Postcolonial and Embodied
Geographies
