I agree these should be in the system ... we have asked for copying over
of sources etc on numerous occassions.

In speaking to exeGesIs there are a number of features which I would
like to see in the imminent minor upgrade for which there is not yet
sufficient head of steam. Hence would anyone care to support me on
the following:
(1) if you ask for all sites of a sub-section of prehistoric ( and
presumably for the other periods) in the monument index, you get all sites
of the main period. Hence if you ask for all bronze age sites you will get
all prehistoric sites. So if you don't want to find all your iron age hillforts
when you ask for palaeolithic sites vote now!
(2) whereas you can copy monument records this function is not
available for activities, souces, finds or consultations so that you will
have to create a new record each time from scratch.
(3) if you wish to attach an event to a monument in the 'tree' and you
know the number of the event there is no way of just typing in the
number, you still have to run a filter to search for it (whereas in the
activity form you could attach to a monument by simply typing in its
number)
Hope this is intelligible (to exeGesIs users anyway!).
