As the mother of two, and thereby an obvious hazard to the environment, I
would like to know your definition of "loads of children".

I happen to think that those who go around having loads of children and
grandchildren are not doing
the planet any favours. You could argue that it is probably the single most
environmentally
damaging activity of all, since giving birth ensures an average 70 or so
years of environmental
degradation, especially if you live in the rich world. I voluntarily
decided to not have children
and instead had a small and relatively painless operation - so I can spend
more time dedicating my
efforts to a better, more sustainable future for all.
