Dear colleagues,
According to a 'Notice to users' on the EUR-OP web site:
"EUR-OP has expanded its direct online ordering service. Customers can
purchase all available priced titles and also find information about free
publications. However, free publications cannot currently be ordered
online."
This improved service is based on a search tool, which allows users to
search the CATDIFF online catalogue by title words, publication year,
catalogue number, ISBN, language, etc. The search engine seems to function
rather erratically at present, which may explain why this new facility has
not yet been widely publicised.
It can be reached via the 'How to order' button on the EUR-OP home page;
then follow the link to 'online ordering service'. Ignore the 'Good news
from Catdiff' page, inviting you to enter a username and password (this
seems to be intended for sales agents only), and click on 'Continue' at the
foot of the page. Repeat this to reach the search tool.
When fully functional, this should be an extremely useful tool for
bibliographic checking of EUR-OP publications, as well as for online
ordering.
Best regards,
Chris Lamb
