institution of higher education and is noted for its excellence in both
teaching and research.
The faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Jordan University of Science and
Technology invites applicants for a faculty position with academic rank to
begin September 2001. Applicants should hold a Doctor of Optometry or a
Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Vision Science or Physiological
Optics. We seek a candidate with both teaching and clinical experience.
Experience in research will be viewed favourably.
The faculty also invites applicants for a position as instructor. Persons
with a Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years' experience
are encouraged to apply. Applicants with a background in contact lenses,
binocular vision/orthoptics and primary care will be given preference.
