CALL FOR PAPERS - GEOGRAPHY OF HEALTH IN DIVIDED COMMUNITIES

This session will explore the nature, impact and policy
implications of socio-spatial divisions in patterns of
health and health care provision. Divisions both within and
between communities are of interest, at varying spatial
scales and in different geographical contexts. However,
papers would be especially welcomed on the following
themes: the role of place of residence (e.g. rural/urban
differences, contextual influences on health and health
behaviour); community divisions in health care delivery;
cultural divisions in health service uptake and outcomes;
and methodological approaches to examining community
divisions in the study of health and health care delivery.
Abstracts are due no later than the 18th of July in the
following format:
