medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Back to the pilgrimage songs - does anyone know of a good singable edition
of songs from the Liber Vermelli? I'd particularly like the music for the
Stella Splendens. I've tried to transcribe it from a recording but couldn't
manage the harmonies. We have sung it on our pilgrimage to Penrhys (which
of course won't be happening this year because of foot & mouth
restrictions) - that being another shrine in the mountains, up to which you
have to climb, and a pilgrimage which brings together a wide range of
people.
