Three posts:
Senior Research Associate / Research Associate / Tutorial Fellow
Research Capacity Building
This project is part of the ESRC five year Teaching
and Learning Research Programme. The project is aimed
at building research-capacity relevant to teaching and
learning in all phases and sectors. It is part of
the development of education’s contribution to
social science research and to evidence-based policy
and practice. There are three posts available and applications are
invited from candidates with experience
in any relevant discipline, including education, health, statistics,
psychology, sociology, criminology or economics, for example. The
precise nature of the roles and activities of the posts are dependent
upon the individuals appointed. It would, therefore, be
appropriate for candidates to apply for more than one, or even all,
of the posts. Successful candidates will have an enthusiasm for the
work to improve the quality of social science research; an ability
to deal professionally with a range of interested parties; and a
willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
