OK. That is _your_ preference, so where should it be implemented?
Correct. In _your_ software.
Make a filter/inbox rule that shunts thos messages into a folder to
ignore or limbo or set the mail agent that feeds your user agent to
not download those messages.
However, clearly if somebody has broken or lame email software that
cannot avoid sending OoOffice replies to lists then their only
reasonable choice is to not use that function at all if they are on
any lists.
Perhaps setting some filters in the outgoing mail agent, or in
Jiscmail's server woudl be in order to help avoid this.
