Pity #1 if the DRC wanted to use the net to solicit
opinion they didn't allow more time to do so.
Pity #2 the only response from this list has been to
squabble over marking nationality on the web.
I would have thought that the two important principles
at stake here are:
a) that women shouldn't be made to continue with
pregnancies against their will and
b) when does a foetus become a baby?
If "a" was enshrined in law there wouldn't be any need
for discriminatory wording in the abortion
legislation.
Assuming that is that some sort of workable consensus
can be arrived at for question "b".
