yes it does; however, earlier this month (Fri, 06 Apr 2001) Katja Mruck
posted a provisional URL, which does work (for convenience, I quote the
message here, in case you can't find it by other means):
Dear All,
there are two reasons to address you today:
First of all: As some of you already recognized,
www.qualitative-research.net is actually not accessible.
This is caused
by important problems of the actual provider, & so we yet
are canceling
our contract with him & decided to move FQS to a server
of the Free
University of Berlin immediately. You may access the
fulltexts using the
provisional URL
http://userpage.fu-berlin.de/~mruck/fqs/fqs-eng.htm -
another mirror we are preparing at the University of
Magdeburg.
Additionally, we requested the change for the
nameservers: I will write
you a short note as soon as FQS is again available at
www.qualitative-research.net. Till this time, you may use
the before
mentioned URL to download texts etc., & if there are any
problems - e.g.
with accessing a single file - just let me know.
The second reason is a more comfortable one: Sunkyo Kwon,
the Editor of
PsychNews International, asked me if I know somebody
interested to write
a short piece about mental health & qualitative methods
(& eventually:
electronic media). The text should have about 70
characters per line
with 50-300 lines at maximum, & a title & authorīs name
should be
available till Easter, the text itself about one week
later.
As all authors of the forthcoming PsychNews-Newsletter up
to now come
from United States or Germany, Sunkyo is especially
interested to find
an author from another country. So if any one of you
likes to do this
job, just contact me, & I will forward your request to
him.
Thanks, & a nice weekend for all of you!
