Our job as far as I am concerned is to teach and enable the patient to
be in control of their own ongoing health. Certainly, if the condition
flares up beyond their control more physio time could be given, but not
as a continuous input.

You have mistaken my meaning. ..... People just will not do them if we
don't reduce it or make it interesting for the client. So in a sense, it
is our responsibility also to maximize the potential that these clients
are compliant with exercises after discharge.

I work in the area of 'women's health'.
Having made sure that they have seen some improvement it is easier for
them to take control with a workable regime. I agree, especially when
they know what the outcome is if they do not comply.
