medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I checked some of the English works on Carolingian history
I have lying about, and the authors either use "polyptyque"
-- sometimes in quotation marks or italics -- or words that
describe the contents of the polyptyque, such as "land
survey." I don't think there is an exact English translation.
