As the other editor of 'Informing the future of the past', I share
Paul's feeling that the three partners should continue working together
with an editorial panel (or project board) to co-ordinate contributions,
organise peer reviews and to endorse new/re-issued sections.
SMR officers, managers, ADS staff, EH staff were all fantastic in terms
of the time, thought and energy that they put into getting the first
edition of the manual together. Personally I'm delighted that SMR
officers want to continue the project.
I'm looking forwards to seeing 'Informing the future of the past'
online.

This would mean that the three partners - ALGAO, EH and ADS - should work together, with support and contributions from SMR officers. I had thought we had agreed that the project board for the manual would continue to meet but I would welcome other ideas for the best way of taking this forward,
