The Centre for the Understanding of Society and Politics would like to
inform you of a conference on youth and youth marketing entitled, "Youth
Marketing Reaches Forty" at Kingston University on 17 May 2001. The
conference brings together academics with youth marketing and brand experts,
to address the important questions of the role played by brands, marketing
and new media in the lives of young people. By analysing changes in the
youth market in the last five decades, the conference aims to build on
historical knowledge to add depth to current issues surrounding critiques of
youth marketing. The conference has attracted interest from a variety of
academic and marketing backgrounds providing an interesting forum for debate
and interaction.
