Kipling Society's activities to any who might be interested.
a. Lecture by Dr Jan Morris "Kipling's Empire". We have taken a larger

would be glad to provide a complimentary ticket to non-members of the
Society. (5"30 for 6, carriages at 7 pm).
b. For Society members - a visit to Bateman's. Thursday 21 June. We expect
this NT property to have reopened despite present foot and mouth

c. The Kipling Conference 5-7 September 2001. We have a substantial offer
of papers, over 40, which may be viewed at the web site
www.magd.cam.ac.uk/Kipling
