italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Dear colleagues,
It is wonderful to see so many helpful and informative Dante sites such as
the ones mentioned on the list recently. The effort that has gone into them
is great, and the results are splendid. I would be remiss, however, if I did
not mention one site that remains a 'must-visit':
http://members.aol.com/lieberk/welc_fr.html (if your computer can support
frames and Java)
or
http://members.aol.com/lieberk/welc_old.html (if it can't)
It must be acknowldeged that scholarship has been greatly enriched,
particularly in the area of Dante studies and medieval literature, by the
pioneering work of fellow list owner Otfried Lieberknecht (who is going to
be extremely embarrassed by this, but that's too bad).
George
