I am assuming you are refering to a4 as the cell reference and that "value"
is not a range name or variable but truly a value that you are looking up.
Since your formula refers to the 2nd column, the datatable range should also
include more than one column. Instead of "a4", it should read something
I hope I understood your question.

Still got no solution for my vlookup problem:
Why can't I use a reference to a cell as datafield???
vlookup(value,a4,2,false) doesn't work.
Hope anyone can help!
