Melinda, as an ex-Maccer I'm not going to risk advising anyone on converting
to a PC - but if you meant a query about what NVivo offers, it's all up on
the QSR website. http://www.qsrinternational.com
I'm intrigued though that you ask for "qualitative research data coding
software" -if your interest is primarily in coding, and asking code-based or
text search questions, the NUD*IST line may do what you want to do and
NVivo's extra functionality may be unnecessary. In which case NUD*IST4, the
older NUD*IST, will do the job. N5 has been out for 6 months or so but N4 is
still available - it's now called N4 Classic. It's also now wonderfully
lower in price :-). And it has always been on the Mac as well as PCs (you
can use its Merge facility to move over to the PC in N4 if you make that
dreaded decision to convert!)
cheers

Can anyone recommend qualitative research data coding software for Mac or
is it worth to convert to a pc to use NVIVO?
