I will be starting PhD. at Bradford University this October and I am looking
for suggestions and ideas for human skeletal collections to study. My aim is
to use stable isotope and trace element data, archaeological data and
osteological data in combination to examine levels of social differentiation
in seemingly homogenous populations. Primarily, the aim is to focus on
British sites for ease of comparison. Ideal collections would date to any
time between the Neolithic and up to the Medieval period, be relatively
small in size (approx 50 ish) and show few signs of great differences in
interpreted social differentiation. If anybody has any suggestions or
possess collections that fit this criteria (and are willing to let me have
access to them), could you please email me off-list and I will forward more
info to you.
