Apologies for any cross posting.
I thought users of iSoft Pathology systems would be interested in
the following email from the NHS IA Path Messaging Enabler
Project.
If anyone is attending the Harrogate Healthcare Computing
Conference next week there is a session on EDI on Monday 19th
at which most of the technical and NHS IA staff will be present. I
would also expect the companies who will be in the trade area to
be keen to provide information on their latest products for GP EDI,
some of which are known to be well advanced in incorporating
features to meet the new standards.

Dear Colleagues,
Please find attached a note detailing the results of further
negotiations with iSoft regarding their proposed charges for the
upgrading of pathology systems to the national standards. Would
you kindly circulate this note to any colleagues who would find the
information useful to allow trust to order the upgrade to their
pathology software
Kindly let me know if I can do anything further to assist with this or
any other issues relating to pathology messaging.
