Ok World -
I'm getting email from many folk complaining about the quality of discussion
on the list at present. Can I remind you that this is a list for discussion
on issues related to Physiotherapy theory and practice, and ask you to get
back on track. As professionals, it is expected of everyone that their
contributions will be scholarly, pertinent and of a subject worthy of
discussion. If you wish to contact members personally for off-line
discussion about your own particular tangents, then that is fine. Don't
subject the rest of the list to your meanderings.
In the 8 years that PHYSIO has been in existence, I have only removed 2
list-members for flagrantly flouting Mailbase protocols - one for
inflammatory racist comments, and the other for defamation of a particular
Company, by an aggrieved former employee. I am loathe to start removing
people from the list because I don't like what they say. I might change
this view.
All I ask is that you remember to think before you post messages and ask
yourself if it is really relevant to the list and is adding to the body of
knowledge about the profession.
Thank you
Heather
