Subject: Re: Help!!!
Hello, Greetings from Seattle. I am a graduate student at the University
of Washington, and I'm in the process of compiling an anti-bias program
for a local elementary school. I'm particularly interested in looking at
bias towards people with disabilities, how different is it from other
bias, possible literature resources on this topic, and or people's
knowledge. I plan to use a constructivist framework so I'm looking for
ways teachers can help children construct healthy awareness of people with
disabilities. Any suggestion regarding, the use of material (puppets,
etc)? I am very thankful to have this opportunity to pose my questions.
ANY suggestion will be appreciated. Sincerely Bernadett Creaven.
