I will need to go back to the original work by Dundee and so on of the early '70s, but as far as I am aware, laryngospasm is NOT a feature
of ketamine analgesia. You may be muddling the slightly increased salivary production that can cause problems with any anaesthetic
agent in any situation, but I have never had this complication, and it is not a recognised feature. Airway loss occurs in about 0.3% of
anaesthetics. Andres has summarised the situation admirably.
