Lee Ann, Try a biomechanical assessment of the foot and ankle, since
pronation at the Subtalar joint causes internal rotation of the tibia.
Excess pronation would load the patella tendon by altering the Q angle,
thus causing more traction on the tib tubercle. Subsequent orthotic
intervention would then be indicated.
