I see we have a productive response from Steve...
It would be far easier to appease these people, and reduce the impact of
the inevitable scheduling chaos, if we could set up a good video link to
CERN. I have no doubt that with an ISDN link (UCL should have no problem
with this), Steve et al would have no problem making their contribution
from CERN.
BTW, we need to talk on Monday about WP8. Specifically, I'd like some
input on
- What this WP8 manpower is supposed to be doing when we have it
- What the appointment process for the famous WP8 rep is looking like
- What the overlap of DataGrid WP8 manpower with the UK GRID WG's should
be - I suspect that quite a lot of it should make its way into the
'implementation' WG for the purposes of this proposal.
