Dear John and SPM'ers:
I am performing the standard and optimized voxel based morphometry protocol
of Good et al., (Neuroimage 14, pp 21-36, 2001) on a group of schizophrenic
subjects, who underwent MRI scanning on antipsychotic medications and then 4
weeks later, off antipsychotic medications. My goal is to compare the
voxels in the on group to the off group. (Eventually I want to do the same
thing to a control group of similar patients scanned twice, also 4 weeks
between scans, on the same antipsychotic medications).
I have created a template for the on ---> off group, the average image of
these patients on medications (normalized to the
T1-template in SPM99, then smoothed with the FHWM kernel). Now I am
normalizing each off medication scan to the "on template" and am proceeding
with the standard protocol.
The question I have is this. Once I finish the standard and the optimized
protocol, what statistics in SPM99 do I
run to detect the differences between the on template and the off scans?
Regards
Rob McClure
