Two Day Simulation Workshop
20-21 March 2002
The two day Simulation Workshop, to be held in Birmingham (UK) in March, is
an opportunity for simulation practitioners and academics to meet to discuss
the latest developments in simulation practice and theory. A series of
papers will be presented on the following themes:

· Parallel and distributed simulation
· Web based simulation
· Simulation and artificial intelligence
· Simulation software
Simulation Applications
· Simulation in manufacturing
· Simulation in services
· Simulation in defence

· Conceptual modelling
· Input analysis
· Verification and validation of simulation models
· Output analysis
Beyond the scientific programme there will be plenty of opportunity for
informal discussion and networking. Many of the latest simulation software
products will be on display in the vendor exhibition.
Location
The workshop is to be held at Hornton Grange, part of the University of
Birmingham's conference park. This provides excellent accommodation with
easy access to the centre of Birmingham. The Edwardian property stands in
its own attractive and peaceful grounds. All bedrooms are en-suite, and are
equipped to the highest standard. The conservatory dining room and oak room
bar provide a relaxed setting for meeting with colleagues. Residents also
have access to the University's leisure facilities.
