Death and sexuality: The two taboos.
Come and watch the 5:00 showing of 'The Human Body' film, in the IMAX
cinema and join in a
discussion on:
Saturday 10th November - Sexuality.
Our sexuality is a vital part of our identity. Where does our sexuality
come from?
What influences do our genes or our social environment play? And are we any
closer
to solving this mystery?
Speakers:
Wendy Stainton-Rogers, she is critical psychologist at the Open University,
and co
author, with Rex Stainton-Rogers, of Psychology of sexuality and gender.
The book
specifically challenges the biological basis of sexuality.
Professor David Skuse, Behavioural Sciences, Institute of Child Health. He
has
carried out research into sex chromosomes, and 'Turners Girls'.
Entry to the museum after 16.30 and the events are free, however an
admission fee of £6.75 for Adults and £5.75 for Students will be charged
for the IMAX film.
