Lectureship/Senior Lectureship in Information Systems
The Department of Management Science is looking for a Lecturer/Senior
Lecturer in Information Systems. The area of primary research interest
within the department is how Information Systems are shaping change to
organisations and their decision-making processes. A key research area
within this is the way in which B2B e-commerce activities and cross-
organisational systems are evolving; however, research into related areas
is also of interest to the department.
The person appointed will be expected to contribute to all the department’s
activities at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, including PhD
supervision. If appropriate the individual may well become involved in
developing the work of Strathclyde’s newly established E-institute.
The Department is RAE5, and the willingness to develop a strong research
portfolio, both individual and collaboratively within the Department, is a
key requirement of the post.
Informal enquiries can be made to Prof. Terry Williams, Head of Department,
