Since my message to the list last Friday I have received the following from
colleagues on this list, for which many thanks. Please let me know if there
are any errors:-
No longer offering free online with hard copy:-
John Wiley
American Physiological Society (APS)
American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)
CABI Publishing
Continuing to offer free online with hard copy:-
Sage
Blackwell Publishing (Blackwell Publishers Humanities and Social Sciences)
Blackwell Publishing (Munksgaard) "now also include online access with
print"
Taylor & Francis Group: including Carfax, Routledge, Psychology Press, Spon
and former Gordon and Breach/Harwood Academic titles.
Royal Society of Chemistry journals
Springer Verlag
Elsevier (web editions, not Science Direct)
American Society of Plant Physiology
Oxford University Press
Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences
Cambridge University Press
Other notes:
Blackwell Publishing (Blackwell Science) - "continue to offer a choice of
print-only, online-only (90%) or print plus online (110%)"
[The individual journal "Addiction" has moved to Blackwell Publishing
(Science) from Taylor and Francis and now falls under the former Blackwell
Science pricing policy.]
AIP surcharge for extended backfiles - see Bernd-Christoph Kaemper's e-mail
for details - already posted. Also see
http://www.aip.org/journal_catalog/preratesheet.html Preliminary 2002
Institutional Subscription Prices (may not work with IE but does with
Netscape)
Does anyone know of any other Publishers/Societies that are definitely no
longer allowing free online access with hard copy from 2002? I guess
otherwise we've picked up the main ones - if so, I'll finish the exercise
here...
Regards
