BRITISH LIBRARY EDUCATION PROGRAMME
The Education Department of the British Library is setting up a database of
freelance museum educators, so that we have people whom we can approach to
assist with workshops for schools in our forthcoming exhibitions.
Our current exhibition (until next April) is "The Lie of the Land - the
secret life of maps". At the moment we are especially trying to find
freelancers who are specialists in Geography and History.
We would like to hear from people who have...
Qualified Teacher Status
Experience of museum and gallery education
Flexibility on dates: dates for workshops will be according to bookings made
by schools, and will be over the Autumn and Spring Terms (2001-2002)
Sessions will be programmed by the BL, and training will be given to
freelancers who deliver the workshops.
