Dear All,
I had no trouble accessing both Scout and UNESCO sites directly from e-mail. Maybe some other factor preventing access to all.
Cheers,
Neil

Hello all,
List members will be interested in the following review and link to a new
web directory of cultural heritage organisations from UNESCO. The review is
gathered from the excellent weekly 'Scout Report' (se link at end of
message.
This looks useful in many ways, not least being as an aid to identify
partners for potential international collaborations. I will prepare and
submit a description of FISH under the heading of 'Networks and cultnets' in
the next couple of days. I'm sure there are many organisations among FISH
membership who will want to add their own details.
What do the rest of you think?

UNESCO Windows to Culture
http://www.unesco.org/culture/links/
This new online directory from UNESCO is devoted to "policy making in the
field of culture." Though the page is relatively new, there are already more
than 400 annotated links here in ten categories including Ministries of
Culture, Networks and Culturenets, Research Institutes, International
Organizations, and so on. Part of the larger Culture and UNESCO site,
Windows to Culture is a good demonstration of "value-added"; clicking on the
detailed view for a resource brings up the title, address, URL, email
address, country, region, themes, and a nice description of the resource/
organization. [TK]
