massive police operation successfully divided crowd into groups of
a thousand, and then proceeded to keep people penned in for
six hours...thus a riot ensued...and the police were proud of a
job well done...cases of unlawful imprisonment are being filed...
As for the protest its time to stand between violent protestors and
the police and somehow prevent them from hijacking the agenda...
not that I've anything against smashing niketown its just a not very
effective media strategy...
I did here it got a little nasty in Berlin and Sydney...
