Hi Fiona
One of our tutors had exactly the same problem, wanting to bring in some of
the same material for different modules. So
module 1 might have content a & c
module 2 might have content a & b
module 2 might have content b & c
To save having to upload the material several times into the different
modules, which then has update problems of having to change several copies
if you make any changes. He created a web site and links the various
sections in what ever combination as links into the modules. This way there
is only one copy to change and update.
Staff need to have some web space and know-how to do this though, but it is
working well so far.
